He never lets go

It boggles my mind.  To contemplate the weight of what Jesus did for me (and you).  God LET GO of Jesus.  He didn't just allow Jesus to die on the cross, He separated Himself from Jesus.  He let go of Him.  He didn't just break His physical body, He broke apart from Himself.  

When Jesus cries out, "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken me?"  That is when God has let go of Jesus as Jesus takes on ALL SIN.  My sin, your sin, Bob Smith's sin, Sally Sue's sin, every single person of all time....sin.

I know when I sin I feel guilty, I feel a weight.  Can you even imagine taking on ALL SIN?  Can you imagine the weight of that?  Because I cannot.

But the beautiful part of God letting go of Jesus is He did this so I (and you) can be connected.  God will ALWAYS have hold of me.  

I can hope in the ONLY HOPE.  That my God, my Jesus will never let go.
